My Story
Hola!!! I'm Liz Mercado - a wife and Puertorrican momma, Jesus and Disney loving, who loves to have fun and meet new people. If you have come across my website because you love Scentsy just as much as I do or are very curious as to what it is, well let me tell you. I'll begin by telling you how I came across the BEST thing ever... I found Scenty 11 years ago when a friend posted on Facebook that she had joined Scentsy and was looking for a host to earn REE and Half priced items. Did she say FREE? Yep that's how she got me hooked. I hosted a party and immediately fell in love with the product. Who doesnt right?
What made me take the leap you ask? Well one night while looking through the catalog after my party but before my order arrived, I was telling my husband how I wanted this and that and he said "Why don't you join? You've been looking for a hobby." See at that time I was going through a really dark time in my life. My husband and I had lost our first born unexpectedly and I was falling deeper and deeper in my grief. To me it made complete sense - join, get distracted and get my stuff for free.
Eleven years later I have been on one of the most wonderful journey of my life. It did help me deal with my grief, but it also has helped me to find myself. I have made tons of new friends, I have traveled to new places, I have developed leadership skills as I lead a team, and have been recognized for everything I've done and accomplished.
